Day-wise Itinerary
Dehradun to Sankri
↑ 6,400 ftDrive from Dehradun to Sankri (200 km, 8-9 hours). Pass through Mussoorie, Purola, and Mori. Reach Sankri by evening. Overnight stay in guesthouse.
Sankri to Juda Ka Talab
↑ 9,100 ft4 kmTrek from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (4 km, 3-4 hours). Trail through dense oak and pine forests. Camp by the frozen lake.
Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base
↑ 11,250 ft4 kmTrek from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp (4 km, 3-4 hours). Walk through open meadows with stunning views. Set up camp at the base.
Summit Day & Back to Base
↑ 12,500 ft6 kmEarly morning summit climb to Kedarkantha Peak (3 km, 3-4 hours). 360° views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Black Peak. Descend to base camp.
Base to Sankri
↑ 6,400 ft8 kmTrek from base camp back to Sankri (8 km, 5-6 hours). Celebrate the successful trek. Overnight stay in guesthouse.
Sankri to Dehradun
↑ 2,000 ftDrive back from Sankri to Dehradun (200 km, 8-9 hours). Trip ends at Dehradun.
